Our journey (so far)

After 5 years of infertility, we finally got a BFP via IUI with donor sperm. Pregnant with healthy identical twin girls, my husband and I thought our dreams had finally come true!
On June 12th, 2008 our world collapsed. Our little girls hearts had stopped beating at 19 weeks, due to Twin-to-Twin Tranfusion Syndrome. Berber and Gerber were our perfect little angels, and we miss them dearly each and every day.

Seven months after losing the girls, we were fortunate enough to conceive again using the same donor. On September 15th, 2009, we welcomed our son, Sherbert, into the world. This is our journey.

Sherbert's great Mexican adventure

Sherbert is very much enjoying his/her Mexican vacation. Mamma's getting a really nice tan, relaxing, and getting lots of 1-on-1 time with B. In fact, as she's writing this, she's about 5 feet from the edge of the pool! Not to rub it in or anything....

Sherbie has been to a real Mexican market (complete with decapitated pigs!), braved a scuzzy bathroom, danced in the conga line at Senor Frogs, and painted some pottery. Good times!

That's a lot of work for a 9-weeker!

How fun! I especially love the Senor Frog's shout-out. As long as Sherbert isn't hanging upside down at the Giggling Marlin you're in good shape :)

Shoot, just re-read a previous post and you're in Mazatlan, not Cabo. Forget the Giggling Marlin reference!

Baby M got to got to Mexico(via a cruise ship) when he was 9 weeks in-utero and he has turned out to be a pretty cool kid. He even danced the conga at Senor Frogs and got some cool balloon hats there as well although it was in the Cayman's.

Glad you are having a good time - you deserve this!
